COMMISSION
This beautiful figurative oil painting was commissioned by the subjects wife to be his 60th birthday present. It was such a pleasure capturing this moment of the subject before one of his beloved war re-enactments. I myself am a fan of history and vintage images so it was easy for me to stay inspired throughout the painting process. I hope the happy couple enjoys their portrait!
