I am thrilled to present my new large scale commission "Preeti Sapphire Indian Bride"! My amazing clients, who last year commissioned their first HUGE Indian Bride from me (See it HERE), were eager to add another slightly smaller piece to their collection. While the size went from 5ftx7ft to 4ftx5ft, the scope of the project got more detailed and time consuming. This piece features big beautiful opened blue contact lens eyes, a beautiful smooth hand holding a sheer veil, and many little gold pieces and gems. While the challenges were different this time I am still utterly pleased with the results and could not be more excited to share some close up shots with you! The piece was completed back in July but I did not have the time to post close up photos due to illness and other commissions, so I am sure many of you are excited to see what this piece looks like when we get closer to the details. Because of its size and the size of the gems/gold pieces, pictures will never do this artwork justice.
I am so utterly ecstatic to say that my lovely clients have booked in one more piece at this size to be completed in 2016! So stay tuned to my social media pages to see the next piece come to life before your eyes!

Given the scale of this magnificent piece I thought it would be a great opportunity to take some photos of myself with my work! I generally spend my days in "comfies" and a braid in my hair but for this I got all cleaned up! Even though I was very ill at this time, I sure felt pretty! :)
