"Beauty Is Varied"
Malinda Prud'homme's Solo Exhibition
Gallery 50
Art & Design District, Toronto
November 16-20 2016
Installation Day: Nov 15th 2016
I woke up that morning filled with beans! I could not wait to see all of my work up in Gallery 50 off Queen West in the Art & Design District of Toronto! I've lived and worked in the area for the past seven years but because it's a "hot" area for the arts it took me a little while to work myself into the community as a professional artist. In my eyes, this show was a real feat for me and I planned to celebrate it with new artwork and a party! But first, the not so fun task of setting up. After packing up all of my artwork, my incredibly helpful, kind, and talented protège Danielle and I walked it all over to the gallery and spent the afternoon installing it. Gallery 50 is truly a beautiful space and I was very thrilled with the end result of my show. :)
Stay tuned for blog posts about the Opening Day/Live Painting as well as the Closing Reception Party!

Standing outside this wicked window looking into my exhibit ... wow ... crazy what a small city Sudbury gal can achieve!
Two beautiful sisters next to each other. It is such an honour to be able to capture the beauty of these women.
One of my NEW pieces created specially for this exhibition entitled "The 20s Reborn"! Stay tuned for an official post coming soon.
Super excited about these two NEW portraits that were also created specially for this exhibition. They are entitled "Cheeky Beauties" 'Old Soul' and 'Silly Goose' and are meant to celebrate the quirky sides of female beauty. An official post will be coming soon!
I loved the article and also the website! Congratulations!
