Malinda Prud'homme @ YD | Toronto
On Sunday July 21, 2013 one of my artworks, "Beautiful Ambiguity", was exhibited in the Youth Day Gallery at the YD | Toronto Festival! Since I was already exhibiting in the BIG ON BLOOR Festival I had to send my better half to Yonge & Dundas Square to capture the event. I instructed him to take many pictures so I would feel like I had been there and boy did he ever deliver. This man spends many summer weekends working from dawn to dusk with me doing these shows, I really could not ask for a more loving and supportive partner. :)
When Darren returned from his journey he was excited to share with me that many people had been inquiring about the price of the piece and were interested in buying it. As an artist I try never to get excited about things until there are finalized because so often we are disappointed, but Darren had a feeling I would have an e-mail waiting for me when I got home. Sure enough there was an e-mail from a lovely woman from Edmonton, Alberta who did buy the piece. What an incredible end to an amazing weekend!
