Malinda Prud'homme @ RONCY ROCKS

This past Saturday June 15, 2013 I exhibited my artwork and items in the Roncey Flea which was part of the RONCY ROCKS Music and Art Festival!  The weather was just beautiful and the crowd was friendly which made for a really great event! I want to thank all those who came out to show their support of me and my career. You brought me so much joy! There is nothing like a fan coming to see your show saying "I'm one of your fans on Facebook" or "I follow you on Twitter".  The fact that you have already seen my work but wanted to see it in person, or meet me, truly means the world to me. I say it often, but my fans are THE BEST!

Malinda Prud'homme @ The Sunnyside Beach Juried Art Show 2013

On May 31st, June 1st, and June 2nd, I had the pleasure of participating in the Sunnyside Beach Juried Art Show and Sale.  This was my second year taking part in the event and this year turned out to be even better than 2012. Though my tent was destroyed by a sudden storm on Friday evening I still had a lovely time. Many of my items were beyond repair and I was completely devastated BUT when I think back to this event I am going to remember all of the amazing people I met because of this terrible situation.  So many of my fellow artists came to my aid to help save whatever we could of my artwork and items. I must admit I was beyond consoling but so many tried there best and even opened up there tent to me and my ramshackle pile of items. It is that incredible kindness that I will remember.

This year I made a Commissions Catalogue. I really love creating custom work.

I was so excited when I sold "Seven Beauties" on Saturday.

There were so many more ... but still pretty. :)

This Saturday I will be exhibiting and selling my beautiful mixed media art creations and portraits!
After the devastation I experienced when the storm hit the Sunnyside Beach Juried Art Show I am really wishing for wonderful weather. Many of my artworks will be on sale at the event, just ask about my STORM SALE! Also, those interested will have the opportunity to discuss custom artwork requests. You will also be able to purchase my lovely prints, pendant necklaces, bookmarks, and cards. I will be accepting Cash, VISA, MasterCard, Cheques, Paypal, and Interac E-Transfers.  :)

 

I cannot wait to take part in this festival. Not only does it support music and art but it's in a really cool neighbourhood! Hope to see you there! :)
