This beauty art portrait painting was created to express the true beauty of Sasha Mallya.  I decided to focus on Sasha’s beautiful facial features, her striking dark brown eyes, her cute button nose, and her full lips. I also added a bright yellow background and more colour to her clothing to truly express her vibrant personality.  I decided to title this piece “Cultured Beauty” because I know that Sasha is passionate about travel and enjoys the beauty of other cultures. In fact, this particular image was taken during her travels in India.  The word “cultured” also means educated, refined, and having good taste and manners, which I also feel relates to the lovely Sasha.  I hope you all enjoy this radiant beauty.

An Exciting Request ...

Something EXTREMELY exciting happened to me on April 4th 2013. I was contacted by Juliette Lord, COO of Maniera Magazine, who wanted to run a feature of me and my artwork in the May issue of her incredible magazine. Needless to say, I was utterly flattered and soon enough I was taking part in an interview and providing images! I'm so incredibly honoured and can't wait to see the feature. The issue is set to be released on May 16th 2013. "Staircase Showcase" @ Aboveground Art Supplies

I'm so happy to share with you my "Staircase Showcase" that took place at Aboveground Art Supplies during the entire month of March.  I felt so honoured to have my work up in such a well known art supplies store located right beside the Ontario College of Art & Design as well as the Art Gallery of Ontario. It is thrilling to imagine all of the wonderful people who must have seen my work.  If you missed it, fear not, I've been told I will have other opportunities to exhibit my work here again! HERE IT IS! The commission portrait I've been working on for the past two weeks!I hope you all enjoy my beautiful piece "Beauty And Her Butterfly".

 

This piece was commissioned by a couple who wanted to give it as a gift to the parents of this beautiful little girl.  It was such a pleasure painting lovely Jayme and I hope her parents treasure their new painting.  I've been told it was well received. :)

This beauty portrait painting was created as a result of wanting to paint blissfully.  Having recently worked on multiple commissioned pieces I was in need of a truly relaxing painting experience.  I went to my trusty “Beautiful Woman” folder on my computer which is where I save photos of friends, family members, fans, models, actresses, etc. who inspire me with their natural female beauty.  Here I found the perfect image of my friend and fellow artist Megan McCann. I feel this painting emphasizes her beautiful features and adds a bit of glam with the pearls and gems adhered to the head piece.   I hope my viewers will be overcome with a sense of bliss when viewing this gorgeous painting.
